Reason for Cosplaying: I obviously have a fondness for pink hair, and of course, Lacus' hair is very much pink. I originally choose to cosplay her because I could recycle the wig for Mylene Jenius, from Macross 7, however, I soon changed my mind about cosplaying Mylene and put off this costume for the time being. But I still had every intention of cosplaying Lacus, as she is an adorable, pink-haired, pop princess of peace with a pretty ensemble (I AM THE ALLITERATION MASTER!!). Oh, yeah, and Gundam Seed is pretty good, too. ;D
Afterthoughts: I loved wearing Lacus- I really did feel princess-like, as it was my first floor-length, full skirted costume. ^^ I got a lot of compliments from people who had never even seen Gundam Seed- they just thought it was a pretty dress. I love those kind of compliments. By the end of the day, the pumps were really hurting my feet, though. And I was probably the tallest Lacus EVER. (5'10 + 2-inch pumps = GIANT LACUS!)
