Anime Title: Bleach
Character age: 100+ years
Debut: Megacon '05
Approximate cost: $22
Reason for Cosplaying: Like most, I absolutely LOVE Bleach, and of course, when I love a series, I must honor it through cosplay. Yoruichi is my favorite character, if not just because her bodytype is like mine (uhh... tall, thin, and flexible?)
Afterthoughts: This costume was a LOT of work... mostly just because after I sewed it, I made it too small, so I had to take out all the seams on one side of both legs and resew it so that it was wider. Even after that, it still wasn't very comfortable. It was a fun to Bleach it out at the con, but since we missed the big Bleach gathering, it wasn't all that I hoped it would be... hell, it took us so long to get into costume, that by the time we got to the con, most everyone had left. And did I mention that I HATED the shoes I wore with it? I looked pretty ridiculous. XD I don't say this very often, but this is definitely a costume that I'm going to scrap and remake for Anime Expo. Hopefully, my second version of it won't make me feel so uncomfortable. :\
